Surface preparation
Metal surface: It is recommended to sandblast and remove rust to achieve Sa2.5 level according to ISO8501-1 or GB8923 standards.
Concrete surface: achieve a strong, dense, flat, clean, and dry state. There should be no phenomena such as sanding, shelling, cracks, honeycomb and pockmarks. Usually concrete should be prepared by putty.
Wood surface: clean, dry, without burrs, fragments, and loose debris.
The surface preparation of other substrates please consult with STWD technical engineers.
Application note
Agitate part B uniform prior to application, thoroughly mix the deposited pigments, or the product’s quality will be affected.
Spray polyurea within the proper time if the surface is primed. For the application method and interval time of STWD polyurea speical primer please refer to STWD company’s other brochure.
Always apply STWD9009 on a small area before large application to check the mix ratio, color and spray effect are correct. For detailed information of application please refer to the latest instruction sheet of the application instructions of STWD spray polyurea series.
